ASUS H170M-E D3 Motherboard

The ASUS H170M-E D3 Motherboard  from ASUS is designed to fit in cases that support a uATX form factor. The 9.6 x 8.8″ H170M-E D3 supports 6th Generation (Skylake) Intel Core i7, i5, i3, Pentium, and Celeron processors, the LGA1151 socket, as well as the Intel H170 chipset. This motherboard supports Windows 10 (64-bit), 8.1 (64-bit), and 7 (64 and 32-bit).

The uATX form factor of the ASUS H170M-E D3 Motherboard  has 4 x DIMM slots that can support up to 64GB of non-ECC unbuffered DDR3 RAM, as well as Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) memory modules. The supported memory speeds are DDR3 1866 (OC), 1600, and 1333 MHz memory modules. The H170M-E D3 has a total of 4 x SATA III 6 Gb/s ports, 1 x M.2 Socket 3, 1 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x1 slot (running at x16), 1 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x1 slot (running at x4), 1 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x1 slot, 1 x PCI slot, 8 x USB 3.0/2.0 ports (4 ports on the back panel, 4 ports at mid-board), 6 x USB 2.0/1.1 ports (2 ports on the back panel, 4 at mid-board), and 2 x PS/2 ports. Using the Realtek ALC887-VD2 codec, it can support 8-channel HD audio.

The ASUS H170M-E D3 Motherboard  has integrated Intel HD graphics support with 1 x HDMI port, 1 x DVI-D port, and 1 x VGA port. It can use up to 1,024MB of shared memory and also supports Intel InTru 3D, Intel Quick Sync Video, Intel Clear Video HD, and Intel Insider. Its HDMI port can support maximum resolutions of 4096 x 2160 @ 24 Hz and 2560 x 1600 @ 60 Hz, while both its DVI-D and VGA port can support a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz. It also has multi-GPU support for AMD 2-Way CrossFireX technology and can simultaneously support three displays.

The ASUS H170M-E D3 Motherboard  has also been designed with electrostatic discharge (ESD) guards, LAN guard, overvoltage protection, DRAM overcurrent protection, DIGI+ VRM, a stainless-steel backplate, device compatibility for over 1,000 devices, UEFI BIOS, over 7,000 hours of testing, Fan Xpert 2+, AI Suite 3, RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10, and more. This motherboard is protected by a limited 3-year warranty and includes an I/O shield, 2 x SATA III 6 Gb/s cables, and an M.2 screw package.
