The American technology company NVIDIA has just announced their plan to roll out two powerful GPUs. According to reports both cards will have a separate release, which will happen in May and June.
The GeForce GTX 1080 and another GeForce GTX 1070 will soon be available for users all over the world. As of the moment, no significant reports have been spread about the two, although both release dates have already been confirmed. The GeForce GTX 1070 will come out on June 10 while the GeForce GTX 1080 will be rolled out on May 27.
According to tech observers, although the GTX 1070 may have a slower clock speed compared to the GTX 1080, it boasts an 8 Gbps GDDR5 memory. NVIDIA has also installed an 8 GB VRAM, which is just the same amount they put on the GTX 1080. The cheaper card also has smaller chips architecture which prevents the card from overheating.
Meanwhile, PC Advisor reported that the GTX 1070 will use the same Nvidia’s Shadowplay software as the GTX 1080. The two GPUs have the same game recording, video streaming and light customization options.
